My Mia is in heaven chasing birds and relaxing on the cool grass beneath a shady tree and my main man, Beckerman, has left his puppy days behind as he is becoming a devilishly handsome gentleman, but I still like to remember them anytime a day of celebrating dogs comes along. So, in honor of these two special souls who have given me a chance to feel a few motherly emotions, I wish them both a very Happy National Puppy Day! #princessmiasarahbailey #beckermanmojibailey #schnauzerlove

Happy Birthday to the 🐐 G.O.A.T. Reposted from @uswnt #regrann · Despite the fact that there are some incredibly talented women who have played and are currently playing the beautiful game, I will always put Mia Hamm on top. She is my Mia's namesake after all . . . #uswnt #princessmiasarahbailey

Look at the smile on my baby brother's face . . . Ladies and Gentlemen, Craig Bailey is getting married. He found the one. His one. And she is a good one. (I know, I know . . . no more puns.) But, in all honesty, Ashley really is perfect for Craig. She was a Bailey long before they met. She is fun, genuine, kind-hearted, and has an infectious laugh. She quickly earned the adoration of my parents, my other brothers and their wives, my niece and nephews and my Grandma Bailey. She's had my adoration and seal of approval since the first time I met her. Knowing she will be a permanent member of the family makes my heart smile. They have a firm foundation of respect and honesty and trust. As their relationship developed this past year, I watched these two go from good friends to best friends to more than friends to, well, this beautiful moment pictured above. The tears in her eyes and the joy in his hold reflections of a beautiful love story, their love story- and I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Jane Austen never disappoints: "It is only a novel... or, in short, only some work in which the greatest powers of the mind are displayed, in which the most thorough knowledge of human nature, the happiest delineation of its varieties, the liveliest effusions of wit and humour, are conveyed to the world in the best-chosen language." -Jane Austen Northanger Abbey #readtheclassics #femaleauthors

·RESPECT· International Women's Day! Love is beautiful when shared among those we adore and respect: So, . . Accept your perfect imperfections. Be humble And generous. Break the chains. Clean the cobwebs. Laugh often. Live your freedom. Love the woman in your reflection. Reveal your genuine. Smile more. Find you; The REAL you. Embrace unique; Your 'YOU'nique. Treasure what makes you different And always help others value their self-worth; a bit of compassion just might be the key that unlocks YOU! In short . . . Don't be a possession!

Nom de Plume

This is the Official Blog of T.B. Williams. It is a site dedicated to literature, reading, writing, editing, revising, thoughts, quotes, and all other passions I discover. Over time I will build a collection of literary thoughts, rantings and ravings, pensive moments, possible inspirations, positive and negative points of view, a bit of logic, a lot of ethical and moral implications, and all of the raw and prickly pathos based emotions that jump from my fingertips to the keyboard.
All posts are original. Some content can also be found on my Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Twitter accounts.

My life is simple. In fact, it is borderline boring. However, I am starting to embrace my lack of adventure. A bit of fun here and there is great, but I'm generally content with minimal, unadorned ventures. I love to read, write, teach (currently I'm teaching English 1010 and 2010 at the local community college), watch movies (both at home and in the theater), attend soccer games (Go RSL!), spend time with family and friends, and roast marshmallows for s'mores in our backyard pit.
