Am I nervous about the match vs France? Yes. Do I doubt the USA? No. So why am I nervous? 1. The last time we played France, we lost. 2. They have an entire country cheering them on. Home advantage, if you will. 3. We have a phenomenal offense. Our back line isn't completely secure. And, despite the fact that I don't love Hope Solo's personal baggage, none of our current keepers match her talent. Less than 15 hours to the whistle blows ... #oosa

Happy Birthday to my Grandma Bailey! She just might be the easiest person to love, especially when you see how easy it is for her to love others without condition. I am truly grateful to have her in my life! I know that the time will come when she will leave us and join her sweetheart. (Oh how I wish I could have a glimpse of that tender reunion.) Until then, I'll continue to love how her face lights up and her eyes sparkle when she giggles. I'll smile when I see her smile and I will continue to treasure how special I feel each time her soft hands hold mine as we sit together and talk. #94

Nom de Plume

This is the Official Blog of T.B. Williams. It is a site dedicated to literature, reading, writing, editing, revising, thoughts, quotes, and all other passions I discover. Over time I will build a collection of literary thoughts, rantings and ravings, pensive moments, possible inspirations, positive and negative points of view, a bit of logic, a lot of ethical and moral implications, and all of the raw and prickly pathos based emotions that jump from my fingertips to the keyboard.
All posts are original. Some content can also be found on my Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Twitter accounts.

My life is simple. In fact, it is borderline boring. However, I am starting to embrace my lack of adventure. A bit of fun here and there is great, but I'm generally content with minimal, unadorned ventures. I love to read, write, teach (currently I'm teaching English 1010 and 2010 at the local community college), watch movies (both at home and in the theater), attend soccer games (Go RSL!), spend time with family and friends, and roast marshmallows for s'mores in our backyard pit.
