• w 0 r (D or TH) • Yesterday was World Poetry Day and since I’m a believer in words and their power to lift us up, I figured I’d share one of my faves. “Hope” is the thing with feathers - That perches in the soul - And sings the tune without the words - And never stops - at all - And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard - And sore must be the storm - That could abash the little Bird That kept so many warm - I’ve heard it in the chillest land - And on the strangest Sea - Yet - never - in Extremity, It asked a crumb - of me.

The roads traveled by players around the world since the first Women’s World Cup in 1991 has given this sport a bigger fan base as well as an understanding of why they fight for equal pay. I respect their dedication and devotion to the game they love and know they are carrying dreams of little ones each time they touch the put that ball into the back of the net!!

Carmel- part cat/ part dog. The back of this chair is right by the window and seems to be the perfect place to perch. I love this sweet girl and am so grateful the Brent Bailey family lets us love and spoil her when she stays with us. She’s taller than Beckerman but is only half his weight. They’ve become the best of friends and I can’t help but smile each time Beckerman greets her with a kiss. #beckermanmojibailey #beckandcarmel
