I love learning. I know it makes me even nerdier than I already am, but reading, researching, writing, and listening to the wisdom of others is something I treasure. I could be a college student for the rest of my life and love every second of it. One thing I've learned, however, is that education doesn't start or stop in the classroom. Nature is a wonderful teacher. Books strengthen your vocabulary. Writing allows us to open up and share a part of ourselves with others. Just as proper exercise and nutrition are good for the body, crossword puzzles, sudoku, chess, and other brain games keep our memories alive and our brain stays sharp.
