In June of 1964, Dr. King was arrested during a St. Augustine, Florida sit-in. He was placed in the back seat of a police car along with a German shepherd police dog, apparently attempting to intimidate Mr. King. Instead, the two promptly became friends. (Info below) This photo speaks volumes. Dogs don't care about race, religion or gender; they don't look for disparity nor do they worry about trivial nuances human beings obsess over. They speak one language . . . LOVE. Unconditional love. I can only hope that through the examples and sacrifices of great men and women that I have added humanity to my understanding of being human. And I am beyond grateful that I have Beckerman to remind me that love should be shown, and given, without condition. #mlkjr #beckermanmojibailey Info found on http://bit.ly/2Dro0ac
