I'm fully aware that #nationalsiblingsday was yesterday; but, in my defense, I was attacked and held hostage last night by a nasty migraine. Anyway, I came across an article with an excerpt that does a fabulous job of summing up my thoughts about my three brothers. "It can be hard growing up the only gal in a family full of boys: Instead of fairy wands, you got lightsabers; you were called a “tomboy” not a “princess.” And while that moniker was leveled at you like a dirty word, you grew to wear it like a badge of honour. For better or worse, your bros shaped (and shoved) you into the woman you are today." -Amber Dowling, The Loop #ilovemybrothers #ilovedmychildhood #familyiseverything

I'm about a month late with this post but I'm just gonna roll with it . . . When we caravanned down to LV last month, Beckerman and Carmel were treated to a vacation. My cousin, @whithutchins, and her family took care of 'Beckarmel'! Whitney is my cousin/dog guru/bff/sounding board, etc. She basically tolerated me and my constant fretting over Mia and still tolerates my Beckerman worries. (She also knows way too much about my personal health. I am a constant TMIer when she and I talk.😂) Anyway, she and her cute tribe loved and played with Beck and Carmel. (Do you see how Beckarmel works?) They were loved by Whitney and Hankleberry Finn (love ya @bbn35) and three of the cutest kids on the planet- Novita, the Rock and AO! Thome, the world's greatest hugger, ignored their constant need to compete- (as seen in the photo of them walking and trying to get ahead of one another- and then note how Thome doesn't care). Thank you to the Hutchins clan for loving and caring forour 4-legged family members while we celebrated Owen's special day!. We love you!

Nom de Plume

This is the Official Blog of T.B. Williams. It is a site dedicated to literature, reading, writing, editing, revising, thoughts, quotes, and all other passions I discover. Over time I will build a collection of literary thoughts, rantings and ravings, pensive moments, possible inspirations, positive and negative points of view, a bit of logic, a lot of ethical and moral implications, and all of the raw and prickly pathos based emotions that jump from my fingertips to the keyboard.
All posts are original. Some content can also be found on my Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Twitter accounts.

My life is simple. In fact, it is borderline boring. However, I am starting to embrace my lack of adventure. A bit of fun here and there is great, but I'm generally content with minimal, unadorned ventures. I love to read, write, teach (currently I'm teaching English 1010 and 2010 at the local community college), watch movies (both at home and in the theater), attend soccer games (Go RSL!), spend time with family and friends, and roast marshmallows for s'mores in our backyard pit.
