Dear Bundaberg, I truly enjoy your seasonal Ginger Beer and admit it tastes like Christmas. However, I can no longer ignore the horrific grammatical smear you added to help distinguish between your regular and seasonal beverage. (Warning: The following description may be confusing to all users) NATURALLY FLAVORED WITH OTHER NATURAL FLAVORS I could list a slew of synonyms for natural and flavor as well as dozens of ways you could have, and should have, edited and revised this abhorrent overuse of the same two words in a 6 word description. Shame on you! I foresee how you may argue a word differential in your change of tenses; however, naturally flavored changed into natural flavors breaks a rule that cannot be forgiven . . . antimeria- using one part of speech as another part of speech, such as using a noun as if it were a verb. - (Don't mess with a nerd obsessed with grammar!) One more thing ... I believe Australians speak the Queen's English. This fact was verified by my father, Roger Owens Bailey (@grandpa_bailey), who not only spent two years in Melbourne but is also the nicest, kindest, sweetest, thoughtful, loving, gentle (see what I did there) humans on Earth. If this drink is made in Australia by employees who speak a supposed superior English compared to the English spoken by Americans, somebody better call the Queen. I'd love the honor if those down under find the task a bit daunting. Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans!

Nick Rimando. The G.O.A.T. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. The holder of every goalkeeping record in Major League Soccer is retiring. Although there are two games left in the regular season and maybe, just maybe, a possible stab at post season playoffs, Sunday's home match will be the last time we will see Rimando stand in the goal box, a fixture sewn into the mind of fans. He will be missed but the soul of #RSL18 is forever etched in the RioT.

It's official . . . On Saturday, my baby brother married his best friend and soul mate. It was a beautiful ceremony, delicious luncheon and delightful reception filled with family, friends, laughter and joy. After the rush of guests died down, Craig danced with my mom and Ashley danced with her dad. Once the bride and groom hit the floor, an impromptu dance party followed; I was a proud aunt as I watched my nephews tear up the dance floor with their killer hip/hop moves. (Oh, how I love and adore each one of them.) As the night sky began to twinkle with stars, an illuminated tunnel was formed as friends and family held sparklers from the steps of the house down to the end of the driveway where a car waited to whisk the newlyweds away. If you know me, you know that soccer is a sport I L⚽VE and respect. Growing up in a home where soccer was life solidified my passion for the game. Between the four of us, someone always had practice and/or a game; I grew to enjoy watching my brothers play and admired my dad's coaching ability. When my mom wasn't caravanning us around, she was on the sideline teaching the rules of the game to parents who didn't understand. To this day, soccer still brings my family together. We are forever fans: RSL, URFC, USWNT, USMNT- I love it. This photo collage depicts my favorite USWNT player. Carli Lloyd is the kind of player who doesn't brag, stays humble, always thanks the refs and talks with the opposing team after each match. She works hard and plays hard. She doesn't invite politics into the game. I'm overjoyed that we walked away with another star and another World Cup; however, watching Carli Lloyd sit on the bench for most of the tournament was disheartening. And to be honest, I don't appreciate the politics that were brought into the game by another player(s). Fighting for equal pay is one thing. Boycotting the White House and POTUS should have never been an issue. I will continue to support women's soccer and have significant respect for the players who play for the right reason. I just hope that players like Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, and Carli Lloyd are still out there.

I love this sweet girl! She stays with us when my brother's family needs a dog sitter. My parents and I enjoy having her around. And Beckerman? He will never admit it but he adores her! Carmel is family. She was gentle with Mia, especially when Mia fell ill and she braved Beckerman's energetic puppy years. Happy Independence Day! I am grateful for the freedom I've had my entire life but am aware that there are many who have never felt the safety and security that comes with freedom. The incredible Eleanor Roosevelt once said, " ... equality [is]not only for Americans but for all people on earth ..." Am I nervous about the match vs France? Yes. Do I doubt the USA? No. So why am I nervous? 1. The last time we played France, we lost. 2. They have an entire country cheering them on. Home advantage, if you will. 3. We have a phenomenal offense. Our back line isn't completely secure. Happy Birthday to my Grandma Bailey! She just might be the easiest person to love, especially when you see how easy it is for her to love others without condition. I am truly grateful to have her in my life! I know that the time will come when she will leave us and join her sweetheart. (Oh how I wish I could have a glimpse of that tender reunion.) Until then, I'll continue to love how her face lights up and her eyes sparkle when she giggles. This guy . . . Beckerman loves having his people together; so, when he gets worried about me going down to my place, he stands on the recliner in protest, thwarting any attempt to escape. When he really wants to make a point, he stands on my legs with a persistent conviction. I'm fully aware that #nationalsiblingsday was yesterday; but, in my defense, I was attacked and held hostage last night by a nasty migraine. I'm about a month late with this post but I'm just gonna roll with it . . . When we caravanned down to LV last month, Beckerman and Carmel were treated to a vacation. My cousin, @whithutchins, and her family took care of 'Beckarmel'! Whitney is my cousin/dog guru/bff/sounding board, etc. She basically tolerated me and my constant fretting over Mia and still tolerates my Beckerman worries. (She also knows way too much about my personal health. I am a constant TMIer when she and I talk.😂) Anyway, she and her cute tribe loved and played with Beck and Carmel. (Do you see how Beckarmel works?) They were loved by Whitney and Hankleberry Finn (love ya @bbn35) and three of the cutest kids on the planet- Novita, the Rock and AO! Thome, the world's greatest hugger, ignored their constant need to compete- (as seen in the photo of them walking and trying to get ahead of one another- and then note how Thome doesn't care). Thank you to the Hutchins clan for loving and caring forour 4-legged family members while we celebrated Owen's special day!. We love you!

My Mia is in heaven chasing birds and relaxing on the cool grass beneath a shady tree and my main man, Beckerman, has left his puppy days behind as he is becoming a devilishly handsome gentleman, but I still like to remember them anytime a day of celebrating dogs comes along.
